2010 Canadian Travel Intentions Survey

by J.C. Archer on February 11, 2010

According to the Hotel Association of Canada and data released from its 2010 Canadian Travel Intentions Survey, the vast majority of Canadians, both leisure and business travelers will be looking to maintain or increase their travel in 2010…

In addition, Travel Daily News reports that Tony Pollard, President of the Hotel Association of Canada had this to say regarding the mindset of travelers:

“We’ve got almost half of those surveyed stating they are ‘vacation-deprived’, which tells me that while people are worried about their jobs and are afraid to spend their money on extended travel, they still plan to travel in 2010″

The survey also points out that travelers are doing their homework and looking for good deals and good service.

I am of the opinion that its necessary for each of us to invest in our capacity to produce. One of the most effective means seems to be getting away from the stress by taking time off and enjoying a restful, reinvigorating vacation. Studies show that those who invest in their capacity to produce are as much as 300% more productive.
